I am doing more research on my Debates of Honor series. The Patriarch is the name of the first book. It takes place from 1753 through 1755 when the French and Indian War, the fourth of the name, and also called the Seven Years' War started begins.
The Second Brother is Robert Blackthorpe. He is slightly different than his brother John Adam Blackthorpe and is less confidant than his older brother. The brothers, eight of them, form the core of the series and their personal stories will be told individually, but each brother will play a bit part in each others' stories.
Since I am telling stories about the French and Indian War, the beginnings of an internecine war between Pennsylvania and Connecticut I have a great deal of research to do. I am looking forward to publishing the Patriarch when it is finished and will likely use Create Space for my first publication.

I want to thank my cousin Reza for telling me about Amazon's Create Space. I am busy editing Martyrs of the Reformation, the Fight to Bring the Bible to the Masses. It is an interesting study. I would like it to be in one book but If I must I'll create more than one book based of page amounts and word amounts.

New Series
October 4, 2017,
This is the first blog in a new series of story I'm currently outlining called Debates of Honor.
The questions in these books are listed in the synopsis provided here:
•
What
is the price of one’s honor and integrity? Does being a God-fearing man trump
honor and integrity in favor of one’s country or does honor go hand-in-hand
with protecting innocents and people stuck in the center of a conflict not of
their own making? These are the questions the Blackthorpe men and their sister
will wrestle with while supporting two sides of the conflict. These very ideas might well tear the siblings
apart and precipitate a private civil war which might destroy them. Is family honor and loyalty stronger than the
honor and loyalty to one’s country? What
price will the Blackthorpe siblings have to pay to protect their honor and
loyalty to each other, their families, and their countries?

Today, I am going through paper work and adding new information to my old thesis paper
Martyrs of the Reformation. I am revising complete sections and adding new chapters. One chapter
will be on Jan Hus, a Bohemian and Wycliffist who challenged the church hierarchy. Another
will be on the Printing Press, the fifteenth century's equivalent of the Internet.
With luck, I'll be able to do my research and if it isn't ready for Black Friday, then I want it to be
ready for Easter.
